Logging out
Signing out is a good idea on a shared or public device, such as a family tablet or a library computer.
How to sign out
- Tap your name at the top of the page. On a phone, you may see Me in the bar at the bottom instead.
- This opens My account. Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Sign out.
You’ll see the sign-in page with the message “You have been signed out.”
Some apps have their own sign-out button
An app can also include its own Log out or Sign out button somewhere on its pages. It does the same thing. Use whichever is easier to find.
