Updating your profile

Everything about your account is in My account. To open it, tap your name at the top of the page, or Me in the bar at the bottom on a phone.

Remember that your account belongs to one space. Changes you make here apply to this space only.

What you’ll find in My account

• Edit profile: your photo, name and personal details.
• Account details: your Username, Email, Role, when you Joined and when you Last signed in.
• Links to Change email (or Add email), Change username and Change password.
• Download my data and Sign out at the bottom.

Edit your profile

1. In My account, tap Edit profile.
2. Change what you like. Every field is optional. As the page says, “Add only what you’d like to share.”
   • Your profile photo: tap Choose photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB), or Remove photo.
   • Your name: how you’d like to be shown.
   • Phone: include + and your country code, for example +46 70 123 45 67.
   • Birthday: the year is optional.
   • Language and time zone: tap Use my current time zone to fill it in for you.
3. Tap Save changes. You’ll see “Your profile has been saved.”

About your photo

“Anyone with a link to your photo can see it.” Choose a picture you’re happy to share.

Change your email address

1. In My account, tap Change email, or Add email if you haven’t added one yet.
2. Enter the new address and your current password.
3. Check the new inbox and open the confirmation link.

Your old address keeps working until you open that link.

Tip

An email address lets you reset your password yourself if you ever forget it. It’s worth adding one.

Change your username

1. In My account, tap Change username.
2. Enter the new username and your current password.

Your username is visible to others: “Other members of this space can see it.”

Change your password

In My account, tap Change password. You’ll stay signed in on the device you’re using. Forgotten your current password? See Resetting your password.

Information the space added

You may also see Information from followed by the space’s name. This is information the people who run the space added about you. “Only its administrators can change it.” If something there is wrong, ask them to update it.
